Confiture Sans sucre

Quoi de mieux au petit-déjeuner ou au goûter que des tartines beurrées et garnies d’une belle couche de confiture ? Tout comme la pâte à tartiner, la confiture existe elle aussi en version 0 sucre. Associée à une tranche de pain IG bas ou à tartiner sur des biscuits sans sucre, la confiture de fruits sans sucre est délicieuse mais sans culpabilité !

Comment est fabriquée la confiture sans sucre ? 

Une confiture classique comme on la connaît est réalisée en mélangeant en proportions égales un fruit et du sucre blanc. Cela s’applique pour toutes les confitures, qu'elles soient à la fraise, à l’orange ou à l'abricot. Ce sucre apporte son goût si gourmand à la confiture mais il permet aussi une conservation plus longue du pot. 

Dans le cas d’une confiture sans sucre, la liste d'ingrédients de la recette est un peu différente. Il vous faut : 

- Le fruit de votre choix

- Un édulcorant (stévia, érythritol, xylitol, maltitol...)

- Un gélifiant (agar-agar, pectine, graines de chia...)

- Un peu de jus de citron pour l'acidité et la conservation.

Pourquoi échanger sa confiture classique par une version sans sucre ajouté ?  

On compte en moyenne 60 grammes de sucre aux cent grammes dans une confiture de fraise traditionnelle. Pour rappel, l’OMS préconise de ne pas dépasser 25 grammes de sucre par jour. Ainsi, avec deux tartines de taille moyenne vous êtes déjà au-dessus des doses recommandées, rien qu’au petit déjeuner !
